Pas de son sur une ou plusieurs chaines?

Help! K!TV is flickering Green every so often. It's not the cableing, or the monitor...it's something within the software (maybe a setting?). I have the computer getting video input from a VCR via RCA cable. There is no cable TV running through this setup, only the signal (DVD or TAPE) comming from the VCR. It shows everything and plays the sound, but every so often the KTV screen flickers green. Any ideas? This is urgent! VERY URGENT!

it's a band new RCA Cable,
It's a band new TV Card (we experience this with every tv it's set up on)
All Drives are up to date
All connection are in as tight as possible

The video is comming in via Composite (the setting in K!TV), the source is WDM.

In Channel Search Settings -

Recpetion - Country USA, Video Standard NTSC, Freq. Format Cable
Details - name is default, Format NTSC, Source Composit

Remember...these systems don't ahve cable TV comming into the VCR, the video input is strickly comming from VCR input (DVD or TAPE).

Have you create a channel for this source in k!tv ?

-> canaux/liste des canaux -> détails => here you create a new channel with a number, a name, "format NTSC", "source composite". Then click INSERT.

Is it ok now ?

change the priority here :
Réglages->Réglages video->capture->Priorité du traitement video->Haute.

I have created a channel....i had to to get past the channel search message...so I am getting video...it just flickers green every so often.

Also -
Can you translate this:
Réglages->Réglages video->capture->Priorité du traitement video->Haute.

My french isn't as good as it used to be and I can only understand a little of what you have put in here.

Settings->Video Settings->capture->video treatement priority->high

You can also select your favorite language in K!TV wink

So, in k!tv, follow this in order to change the video traitement priority. (in english the translation would be : settings/video settings/capture/Video traitement (?)/high)

Sorry I don't speak english but I must say: Yes , you should intall directx 9c the latest vesion.
Try to run dxdiag, the utility that show you what version and if there is problems with.

About directx 9.c : YES you have to install it. See Microsoft website. It's free of course.

About video priority : have you try it ? It's important and may result your problem...

Changing all of the priorities to High took care of the problem! Thanks!
