Hi,
sorry, I don't speak French.
I have a DTV1000T running on Windows XP x64. I have installed the Beta drivers from here:
http://tw1965.myweb.hinet.net/x64.htm
but I can't get the WinFast software or the K!TV to find any channels. When I choose Capture Source = WDM and then I go to the Channel search, I click on Start and it almost instantly stops. It says Scanning then Synchronize then it stops after flashing up channel 0 in the box.
What am I doing wrong??
Thanks |

Regarding WinFast I have no idea, maybe you should ask this question on the Leadtek forum.
K!TV is not compatible with x64, there is a beta version on the developper forum, but I am not sure it is working with WDM, but you may give it a try

I just thought it would be possible to run since i have seen lots of posts of people with x64 using this card. But I am having some trouble finding the link in the developers database (it's all in French! ) so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind supplying a direct link |

Hi, thanks for all your help
I went to the following link:
http://beta.kastortv.org/?version=2.4Beta2
and downloaded the x64 version. However, it is not an installation exe, it is a program exe and some dlls plus other files. Running from their own directory doesn't work nor does replacing the old files with these new files... I get an error saying that the application configuration is not correct
Sorry but I would really appreciate some assistance! |

I do not think you have to replace an existing installation, just unzip the files in a new directory. |

This a beta version, so maybe you should post your problem on the Develo forum in the related topic |

im running the same tuner card which i just bought (Winfast DVT 1000 T) on Windows XP 32bit. I get exactly the same result when scanning for channels - it just stops as soon as you click the start button. it doesnt pick up any channels. im using WDM source since i get an error with the DSDrv source.
However when i use the Winfast software it works fine. The only reason i dont use the winfast software is because i dont like the interface and im looking for a free better designed alternative.
any ideas please? |

Did you try with the last beta version ? beta du moment
Otherwise try to input channel numbers by name, do not forget to select your country and standard. |
