Not for the DVB part as K!TV does not handle it yet, but probably for the analog part.
What is the problem exactly ? |

Thanks for the reply..
All I wanted to do was to use the DVB-T stick to put TV reception onto a pentium II laptop running XP ( toshiba portege ) and put that in the kitchen so my wife can watch the cooking programs !!
Every bit of software I've tried so far says I need a minimum Pentium III PC..
I even tried using Ubuntu linux on a laptop and hit problems with that as well.
What do you mean by analog ?. I was just to going to take the RF-out from the sky box and plug it into the DVB stick... will that not work ? |

This stick is hybrid, it means it can handle traditionnal analog terrestrial television (the old television transmission) and digital terrestrial transmission.
K!TV can only handle analog transmission, so it means with a standard antenna via a RF cable.
I do not know what is the Sky box ..
And again what is the problem with K!TV ? |

Thanks again.
The sky box is the digital box we use for satellite television. ( Sky TV ).
The output from the box is a standard RF aerial.
I do not have a problem with KITV yet as I have not tried it. The reason I asked the question was if it would work on a pentium II computer. There is not point in installing the software if it needs a pentium III or more
Merci |

I have never tried with a pentium 2, it probably could with a low resolution and without deinterlacer, but once again it does not work with for Satelite, it is only for analog terrestrial television. |

I tried installing it on the portege.
When I run the program it has two error messages
Your video card doesnt have enough overlay memory for -1 back buffers....
and
Error no overley detected...
My laptop is a toshiba portege 3110CT with a video card called
Trident VideoAccelerator 9525DVD 5.6033
Not sure what to do next ? |

Try to update the video drivers, maybe ask the manufacturer for the overlay support of this video card. |
