Ce client de messagerie instantanée Open Source sort en version 1.0 !
Il tourne sous Windows et Linux et supporte les messageries instantanées d’AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, MSN, Napster, Groupwise, Jabber et Gadu-Gadu sans oublier l'IRC !!!!
Bref : c'est bien, c'est beau, c'est libre !

What Is Gaim?
Gaim is a multi-protocol instant messaging (IM) client for Linux, BSD, MacOS X, and Windows. It is compatible with AIM and ICQ (Oscar protocol), MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, and Zephyr networks.
Gaim users can log in to multiple accounts on multiple IM networks simultaneously. This means that you can be chatting with friends on AOL Instant Messenger, talking to a friend on Yahoo Messenger, and sitting in an IRC channel all at the same time.
Gaim supports many features of the various networks, such as file transfer (coming soon), away messages, typing notification, and MSN window closing notification. It also goes beyond that and provides many unique features. A few popular features are Buddy Pounces, which give the ability to notify you, send a message, play a sound, or run a program when a specific buddy goes away, signs online, or returns from idle; and plugins, consisting of text replacement, a buddy ticker, extended message notification, iconify on away, and more.
Gaim runs on a number of platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Qtopia (Sharp Zaurus and iPaq).
Gaim integrates well with GNOME 2 and KDE 3.1's system tray, as well as Windows's own system tray. This allows you to work with Gaim without requiring the buddy list window to be up at all times.

le prob avec gaim:c qu'il crée un fichier .xml avec tout tes login et mots de passe....écris comme ca en clair  |

Comment ça " espionner " ?
Pour en revenir à Miranda, j'ai oublié un détail d'importance : c'est qu'il transportable. Vous pouvez le trimballer avec vous sur une  USB ou même une disquette (profil inclus). |

je fais peut-être ma mijaurée, mais je trouve pas leurs modifs transcendantes...
juste pour dire que ça n'évolue que peu, et ça garde ses problèmes de jeunesse je trouve...
(au vu du bugfix et de ce que j'avais testé)
je vais retester... |

Ils font une sortie tous les 15 jours normalement...
Donc ce n'est pas en fonction des ajouts qu'ils sortent les releases
(sauf release exceptionnelle en cas de bug majeur )
Après ça va à la vitesse où ça va, il a quand même bien évolué depuis un an |
