On M$ Windows the daemon-only process is still a GUI application. I've experimented for several hours with making it a console app so that the "-nodetach" option works (esp. in conjunction with option "-acqonce" so that the calling command shell waits until nxtvepg has terminated) but I didn't reach a satisfying solution which didn't have awkward side-effects. It seems that Microsoft also realized their API is a bit lacking in that respect, so with XP they've added a new function "AttachConsole" which allows GUI processes to access the console where they were started from. nxtvepg is now calling this function on XP when "-nodetach" is used. Since I don't have XP I'm not sure how this will behave. I'd appreciate any feedback on this issue.

Note that the next release will probably be 2.8.0 and not 2.7.5. I'm just temporarily remaining on the 2.7 branch because I haven't merged the WDM driver related changes from 2.8.0pre0 yet.
